Download eBook È Bluestar's Prophecy ç 516 pages ¾ [EPUB] ✷ Bluestar's Prophecy By Erin Hunter – Destined for greatness Four Clans of wild cats have shared the forest for generations thriving in their territories But tensions are running high and ThunderClan must assert its strength or risk faY the one enemy she cannot outrunAs Bluekit gains power and eventually earns her leader name Bluestar she fights to protect her Clan But secrets from the past threaten to surface secrets that may destroy ThunderClan and Bluestar So this is my first Goodreads review Hope it goes well fingers crossedI read the original Warriors series over a number of years the books were very hard to find in the UK and then always meant to go back and read the New Prophecy series I have the whole box set on order right now But then I heard about the Super Editions Having only read the original series they sounded great New books that I didn't need to read all of New Prophecy to understand Of course I went for Bluestar's firstNow I must say I am way over the age meant for these books I started reading them in my late teens because they seemed like something I would have adored as a kid I couldn't help myself A series about cats that's full og mysticism but also the brutal reality of nature Even as an adult I can't help myself and I've never much cared for only reading things because of the age put on itEnough background I got Bluestar's Prophecy and raced through it There was good and bad it must be said but as a companion to the original series I don't think fans will be disappointedview spoilerFirst the bad Let's get it out the way I had assumed that there'd be a lot about Bluestar and Oakheart's relationship It was really based on nothing than attraction and one careless night spent together I supose that made sense in a way Bluestar was too loyal to do what GreystripeSilverstream did seeing each other repeatedly It made sense that she snuck out one night because she was young curious and caught up in the momentAnother problem I had was with how Bluestar was chosen to be deputy She seemed too young and like she hadn't done anything special to earn the title I get that Sunstar wanted a young deputy who he could mold into the future leader he wanted but that should have been made clearer by him talking to her and Thistleclaw about it imoHer decision to give up her kits seemed a bit out of the blue too There should have been build up or her worrying over her decision of Thistleclaw being bloodthirsty to push her to do it Given the fact she had no interest in kits before hers were born it didn't paint her in a very good light that she gave them up so easilyHowever there were a lot of good and great things about the book which is why I gave it 4 starsI loved seeing all the Warriors characters when they were younger Some of the new characters were great too I loved Sunfallstar Pinestar young Crookedstar when he was still friendly and playful Snowfur little Whitestorm Featherwhisker and poor Thrushpelt Bluestar could have been nicer to him I really wanted someone to appreciate how sweet and loving he wasTigerstar made a lot sense too after reading the book Thistleclaw instilled a lot of bloodlust in him the way he made him attack the little black kit was one of the most powerful scenes in the book especially when you know who that kit grew up to be The fact that he was so spoilt as the only kit in the clan also shows some of his arrogance It was probably always in his personality to be as power hungry and ruthless as he became but other events in Bluestar's Prophecy show how this personality was encouraged He even hates kittypets so much because his father abandoned the clan to live a kittypet lifeThe most revealing thing in the book to me however was Bluestar's depression everytime she lost someone It made her severe depression after Tigerstar's betrayal make much sense When her mother died she barely functioned for months until Sunfall talked her out of it The same thing happened again when Snowfur died and she later gave up her kits Everytime she withdrew from clan life as much as she could and had few close bonds with the other cats The only cat who could talk her around was Sunstar but by the time Tigerclaw betrayed her he wasn't around As clan leader she was even disconnected from the clan when she went into depressionIn short I liked this book and all it revealed Of course I do think it helps to have read the Warriors series to get the most out of it In fact until I read Crookedstar's Promise I still probably won't have the full picture hide spoiler

eBook ð Bluestar's Prophecy ê Erin Hunter

Destined for greatness Four Clans of wild cats have shared the forest for generations thriving in their territories But tensions are running high and ThunderClan must assert its strength or risk falling prey to its power hungry This is probably my second favorite super edition second to Crookedstar's Promise I really enjoyed Bluestar's prophecy You enter the story moments before Bluestar jumps off the edge of the gorge to lead the dogs to their deaths but this time from her perspective The prophecy which she refer's to as Goosefeather's rings in her mind Water will destroy you It ends with Mistyfoot and Stonefur forgiving her for what she's doneI really enjoyed the elements and setup of this book It flashes into Bluestar's life from kit to leader and all the tragedy and heartbreak she went through Seeing as I got my copy at a used book sale it's pretty beat up but every time I pick it up I just get this wonderful nostalgic feeling If you feel nostalgic when looking at Into the Wild after reading the newest book it's multiplied with this oneThe feels are real Would recommend

Bluestar's ProphecyNeighborsInto this time of uncertainty a kit is born A prophecy foretells that Bluekit will be as strong as fire destined to blaze through the ranks of her Clan But with this prophecy comes the foreshadowing of her destruction b Bluestar was never one of my favorite characters but the book was boring I found it was dragging and it didn't offered any kind of nee information or delivered it with any grace
